Gig-a-liscious
I am recovering from a very productive and profitable weekend of gigs and concerts. Saturday, I had to get up at 8 am to drive three hours to Seymour IN to play at the VFW for a guy's 64th birthday. It was a little crazy and my poor little violin now smells like a cigarette factory. I drove home the same night and didn't get back until three in the morning. The very next day I had a Terre Haute Symphony concert at Fairbanks Park. The music was well prepared and my stand partners weren't complete idiots so it went well. Also, the Wabash didn't smell as bad as I remember from a couple years before when the orchestra last played there. There was lots of sunshine and pollen. My allergies were acting up worse than ever and I sneezed through the whole concert when we weren't playing and I think it came across as something humorous. So there it is.
